Masters In Education
Programs of study leading to the Masters in Education (MEd) are offered through the Graduate School of Education (GSE) to educators seeking to increase their content knowledge and teaching skills and advance their careers. Northeastern's MEd programs have two primary tracks and a number of concentrations. One track focuses on grades K-12 for elementary and secondary educators. The other focuses on adult and higher education and is offered to those working in post-secondary institutions or corporate educational environments. Both tracks share common elements but are designed for different audiences and offer different specializations.Degree strands for the K-12 audience include mathematics, literacy, science, special education, and education leadership. Courses taken in a licensure program offered through the GSE in special education, mathematics, and education leadership (http://www.spcs.neu.edu/pdp/programs/llp/), may be transferred to the appropriate MEd program.
